Central Staffing

The PHS Central Staffing Float Pool provides relief staffing resources to our care teams in our Care Centers, Assisted Living and Transitional Care communities and serves as an important part of our ministry serving older adults. We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistants and Nurses that pride themselves in providing quality care and services to seniors in a variety of levels of care.

What it takes

  • Current NAR Certification or a Nurse licensure in the state you will work and at least 6 months of experience in a health care setting.
  • Able and willing to travel to communities within a 30 mile radius of your home.
  • Full Time must be available a minimum of 60 hours per two week pay period, have regular and predictable schedule availability, and be flexible and able to adapt to changing staffing needs.
  • On-Call must work a minimum of 5 shifts a month, including one weekend shift.

Premium Pay

In addition to our standard hourly rate of pay you will receive Central Staffing Premium Pay as follows:
  • Nursing Assistant $30/shift
  • LPN $45/shift
  • RN $60/shift

Mileage Reimbursement

You will receive mileage reimbursement for any miles driven beyond your home PHS location (determined at hire).

Outstate Pay

Additional “Outstate Pay” of $50 per round trip for employees who travel to one of these locations (if more than 30 miles from your home).
  • GracePointe Crossing in Cambridge, MN
  • Harmony River in Hutchinson, MN
  • The Deerfield in New Richmond, WI

*Full Time Only
You will be paid for 60 hours per two week pay period (to maintain FT status) in the event that PHS is unable to deploy you, provided you maintain program eligibility.
PHS offers a variety of benefits to our full time employees. As a full time Central Staffing employee you will be eligible for all the same benefits offered to all PHS full time employees.
