Long Term Care

The Gables Care Center

The look, feel and atmosphere of our 24-hour skilled nursing care is very different from the stereotypical image of “nursing homes” you might have in mind. It is important to note that The Gables is not a “nursing home” but rather a community of individuals who may need assistance in medication management, therapy services and activities of daily living.

Often referred to as a care center, our long term care community households are a place where your loved one receives quality care while exercising their freedom to decide what their “best day” looks like. For those who might need 24-hour care, the skilled nursing in long term care is the highest level of care available outside of a hospital.

We offer an array of compassionate care services including:

  • Personal care – assistance from nursing care staff with activities like grooming, bathing, getting dressed and eating
  • Medication management – consultation and creation of a plan of care including timely administration of scheduled and non-scheduled medications
  • 24/7 assistance – help when needed from the care staff
  • Engaging activities programs – everything from worship services, sing-a-longs and Bingo to special interest groups and other learning opportunities
