My tour of Avalon Square was conducted by a friendly and knowledgeable guide who introduced other residents. All were friendly and greeted me warmly, with positive comments. She answered all my questions, and her sincerity shone through. ~ Catherine K. Staff in every area are dedicated and hard working. It amazes me how they greet everyone by name. Receptionists are friends to all – helpful and competent. Chef Greg and his crew provide top notch service, offer a variety of foods, and offer tasty options. Christina, the activities director, is a walking encyclopedia of ideas, with so much imagination and encouragement. She is so competent and is always smiling and greeting me. One look at the monthly calendar is indicative of the hard work, study and thought she puts into her services. Maintenance workers are friendly, so willing to help and so knowledgeable. What I appreciate the most is their respect (even when I’ve done something foolish and they have to fix it). None of this would work if not for the competent leadership!! And this all contributes to an atmosphere where residents feel respected, heard, and safe as well as free to socialize. ~ Anonymous I enjoy Avalon and made it my home since I had to give up my condo.
