Testimonials

My name is John and I live at Valley Ridge in Burnsville. I have lived here 5 years and I love it. They have the best staff I have dealt with. They are so helpful and have very good activities  They have a very nice Café. They have great management, great maintenance staff. Come see for yourself. ~ John W. S.

Our apartment has all the amenities that make it homey but very convenient. The design is also thoughtful in as much as to make the doorways wheelchair accessible and the closets large. What can we say in addition except our apartment is perfect, along with many other features, such as sunny windows and a heated garage. ~ Marilyn & Jerry H.

We recognize the impact of the warmth of community our Dad/Father-in-law, Jerry, felt upon returning to Valley Ridge after a five week absence with hospitalization and rehab. From the time Jerry came in the front door on the morning of his return, he was greeted by staff and residents alike with cheerful “welcome homes.”  Once settled in his apartment it was soon time for lunch. In the dining room everyone stopped to welcome him and take his hand or offer hugs as he went from table to table greeting and being greeted very lovingly by his friends, his Valley Ridge family. When he arrived at his own table, his table mates applauded his return. Jerry is blessed with this community and our family is grateful he has this in his life. We cannot tell you how much this has impacted our family to witness the expressions of care and community at Valley Ridge.

Since his return, we believe he will again feel safe and happy in his home at Valley Ridge. In one short week, we have seen improvements in his spirit and well-being.  Our family is also very thankful for all the staff including his nurse, daily caregivers, and front desk staff who foster the culture of kindness and friendliness that is so evident at Valley Ridge. ~John L. & Kelly R.

We cannot thank you enough for the care and kindness that you gave to Turk while she lived at Valley Ridge. Being away from her home was not what she ever wanted, but you helped her in so many ways to live her best life during her final years. And you blessed us too as a family - knowing that she was being cared for by people we could trust and had her best interest at heart. Not all families can have the peace of mind that we had regarding Turk's care and we so appreciat it. ~Nancy & Kathy M.

Our mother now lives at Valley Ridge.  This is a welcoming home where people have taken the time to know my mom's likes and dislikes and treat her with dignity. I have been able to work with the staff that work in the building, from the front desk, to the directors, to the kitchen staff to the aides. Everyone is willing to stop what they are doing to answer a question or find a solution. The primary RN of the building is excellent. She understands dementia and is able to model how to work best with my mother. The RN is also a great resource to ask questions and seek guidance. The aides that care for my mom display kindness, patience and respect. My mom and her family are very happy to have her live in such a warm environment and we are grateful! ~Sandy G.
