This month we share a letter received by Linda Krentz, Campus Administrator at Harmony River in Hutchinson, Minnesota. Our mission is to honor God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of older adults. We are honored to care for older adults as if they were our own family members.
Just wanted to thank you and your wonderful staff for taking care of our father over the last three years. Dad was very happy at Harmony River. He was treated with respect, fed well, and had many opportunities to keep him busy and out of trouble. He made many new friends with staff and other residents. He was happy.
As a family we were so impressed with how Harmony River serves the elderly in its care. We were not afraid to leave Dad in your capable hands. We were kept well informed of his health status. We were welcomed when we visited, the building was always clean and cared for and the meals we shared with dad were always delicious.
The greatest compliment we can shares that we felt like we were part of the Harmony River family. The last three weeks of dad's life were hard but we were so well taken care of. I can't tell you how much that meant to us during that difficult time.
The Hutchinson community is so fortunate to have Harmony River Living Center. The elderly of the community are lucky to have such a great place available. The churches in town should be grateful that their parishioners are spiritually looked after. Keep up the good work---God's work!
Kind Regards is a regular feature that shares the letters, hand written cards and emails we receive from those we serve. Beyond expressing appreciation, these letters remind us how important and needed our ministry is and inspire us to offer our best.
