This month’s Kind Regards letter was sent directly to our President Dan Lindh. In it, the family expresses their gratitude for the “angels” that work at Timber Hills located in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
My wife Laura and I would like you to know that we very much appreciated the exceptionally fine care that my mother Beverly received while a resident at Timber Hills in Inver Grove Heights. If she did not set the record, she has to at least be in the running for the longest living resident of Timber Hills!
Bev suffered from an unusual form of advancing dementia, so when her care became more than my father could manage at home, he also moved into an independent living apartment at Timber Hills so he could be with her every day. They were a cute couple.
She moved into the Arbor memory care 7+ years ago after living at two non-PHS senior living communities.
We would like you to know that the level of care at the Arbor at Timber Hills was vastly superior to the experiences she had elsewhere. We do not think that you will find a professional care provider better than Resident Services Director Jennie Fick anywhere on the planet. The same goes for her Arbor staff - and the other staff at Timber Hills.
Whether your mission statement or your leadership is responsible, you have created a host of temporal angels over there at Inver Grove Heights. And whenever either of my parents needed anything, those angels gave as well as anyone could get.
No family could ask for more.
We've thanked them, but please thank those angels again for us. And thank you.
Very truly yours,
Paul and Laura
Kind Regards is a regular feature that shares the letters, hand written cards and emails we receive from those we serve. Beyond expressing appreciation, these letters remind us how important and needed our ministry is and inspire us to offer our best.
