“We believe we have a higher purpose and calling in what we do,” Jon Fletcher, Vice President of Senior Housing Partners, said to guests in attendance, “We create communities of fellowship to enjoy and share the journey of life with family and friends,” he said.

Wesley at Tehaleh sits on 16.82 acres located within the planned community of Tehaleh by Newland. The campus will have walking paths that connect the site to Tehaleh’s 4,700-acre development. The senior living community, designed by Cuningham Group, incorporates a timeless Pacific Northwest modern style with a thoughtfully landscaped environment and spectacular views of Mount Ranier.

The new community includes two buildings: The Lodge and The Brownstone. The Lodge will feature 136 independent living apartments, 42 Catered Living apartments and 18 assisted living/memory care suites. The Brownstone will offer an additional 32 independent row-style apartments. Senior Housing Partners is the project developer and Ryan Companies is the general contractor.

PHS and Wesley are both nonprofit, faith-based organizations with common missions to serve older adults. The collaboration between Wesley Homes and PHS is rooted in aligned values and goals, with a focus on creating an atmosphere for seniors to thrive in a modern community and among nature.

PHS began collaborating with Wesley in 2005, when PHS’s Senior Housing Partners (SHP) team developed the Lea Hill community in Auburn, WA. Additional projects followed in subsequent years, most recently the repositioning of Wesley’s Des Moines, WA, campus and the construction of Wesley Bradley Park in Puyallup, WA.
