Service Excellence: a positive influence everyday

Jayne Letourneau, RN, makes her mark as an exemplary caregiver, bringing her positive influence to others every day. This is why she received the 2019 CROSS Award for Service Excellence. For over 4 years, Jayne has served Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) as a Registered Nurse at The Deerfield in New Richmond, WI. Jayne put herself through nursing school to answer the call she discerned to dedicate herself to serving others. If you ask Jayne what she loves most about her job, she’ll tell you, “It’s the opportunity to serve others with compassion, caring and humor.”

Everyday, in what she does and how she does it, it’s apparent to those who know Jayne how much she enjoys her job. Here are a few touching stories shared by those who nominated her for the Service Excellence CROSS award at PHS:

“Jayne recently suffered the tragic loss of her husband, and rather than shut down under these circumstances, Jayne harnessed her own grief to develop a grief support group to minister to residents in need of encouragement and understanding.”

“Jayne is devoted to her work. She is constantly putting the needs of others before her own. She demonstrates true compassion and empathy by getting to know people on a personal level.”

“Jayne preaches positivity on a day by day, hour by hour basis through her words and her actions. She is a wonderful person and a true asset to the Deerfield Team.”
