In the Kind Regards series, we share grateful letters and reviews from residents and families. Reading the firsthand experiences of those we serve renews our passion and purpose. It’s our hope that they touch your hearts, too.
The following Facebook Review comes from Judy, a daughter of a new resident at Towner Crest in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. She writes:
A few weeks ago, we contacted Amy [Cahalane, housing advisor] from Towner Crest and asked for a tour for our mom. From the moment we entered, we were greeted very warmly and had all our questions answered. Amy did a wonderful job showing us around and introducing us to some of the staff — everyone was welcoming and seemed happy to be working there. The atmosphere was very peaceful yet very alive with carefully scheduled activities.
Less than a week later, we helped our mom move into her new apartment, and she LOVES it! She says she feels as though she’s living in a resort 😊, and that everyone has been welcoming and helpful to her as ‘the new kid on the block.’
Towner Crest also keeps in mind the stress of the quarantine on senior citizens. They regularly send out letters of inspiration and encouragement to the residents. As a senior community, Towner Crest helps the residents achieve a balance of physical, mental and spiritual health. We are happy our mom is a resident of Towner Crest!
Kind Regards is a regular feature that shares the letters, hand written cards, emails and reviews we receive from those we serve. Beyond expressing appreciation, these letters remind us how important and needed our ministry is and inspire us to offer our best. All letters shared with permission. Please consider writing a letter or leaving a review on Google or Facebook.
