A Service of Gratitude was held at Interlude Restorative Suites in Fridley, MN on April 20, 2021, to honor the team that dedicated themselves to caring for those with COVID.
The special celebration marked one year since Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) and Allina Health announced that Interlude, on the Mercy Hospital – Unity Campus, would begin providing post-acute care for patients diagnosed with COVID-19.
Campus Administrator Janae Beaudot, Campus Chaplain Louise Britts and several members of the Presbyterian Homes & Services Leadership Team spoke at the event and shared their gratitude and deep appreciation for those who "stood up and suited up" to care for those in need.
Mark Pederson, Regional Director of Operations at PHS, thanked the staff at Interlude, stating, “During this time, you served 548 guests and helped 27 PHS communities across the metro and Western WI.” Dan Lindh, President and CEO of PHS commended the team for the impact they have had on residents across PHS and shared gratitude on behalf of the PHS Board of Directors and state officials. Dan commented, “The difference you have made is remarkable, it’s noted, and it will last a long time, maybe even a lifetime.”
We are grateful to the Interlude of Fridley team for helping contain and minimize the spread and impact of COVID at PHS communities, other senior living providers and hospitals and the broader community.
