The following letter comes from Kris, whose dad lived at Highland Ridge in Williamsburg, IA. Reading her firsthand experience renews our passion and purpose. It’s our hope that it touches your hearts, too. Kris writes:
To the kind staff at Highland Ridge –
I just want to thank you for the wonderful care you gave my dad both times he was here. The kindness you showed him and me will never be forgotten! I know he enjoyed everyone here, even though there were times I know it didn’t show.
Highland Ridge was always just the castle on the hill to me until I needed it. It now holds a special place in my heart!
I pray blessings on all of you and thank God for you all! When you see a duck fly over, I know my dad is near and he’s saying hi. 😊
With love and deep gratitude,
